Common Dental Emergencies

When a tooth cracks, the enamel is damaged, but the inner structure remains intact. Our dental professionals will work diligently to relieve your pain and restore your smile as quickly as possible.

If you have a knocked-out tooth that is still in one piece, it’s known as an avulsed tooth. There’s a good chance it can be saved and re-rooted in place. If you find the tooth, gently rinse it off and try to replant it in its socket. If you’re worried about swallowing the tooth, store it in milk, try not to touch the root portion and contact our office immediately.

We will do everything we can to save your tooth and restore your smile.

Unfortunately, tooth infection or abscess is usually accompanied by extreme pain. An infected tooth is serious and must be addressed immediately. Depending on the severity of the infection, you may require a root canal to remove the bacteria and prevent further infection.

If swelling from a dental infection isn’t treated quickly, it can spread and lead to a more serious health issue. Prompt treatment is essential for your safety and well-being.
