The Invisalign Process: What to Expect
At Promontory Heights Dental, our Invisalign® process is broken down into 5 steps:
We’ll start by conducting a comprehensive examination and consultation to ensure Invisalign® is right for you. During this time, we’ll explain the process in detail, so you know what to expect and can make an informed decision. We’re here to answer all your questions and support you every step of the way.
Next, we’ll take digital scans and 3D images of your teeth. These detailed images will allow us to create a personalized treatment plan just for you and design your custom-fit Invisalign® aligner trays.
After confirming that your aligners fit comfortably, we’ll go over the rest of the process with you. We’ll make sure you know when to change your aligners and how to care for and clean them properly.
About two weeks after your fitting, we’ll schedule a follow-up appointment. During this visit, we’ll switch out your first set of aligners, discuss your progress and experience so far, and answer any questions you might have.
